Raven - Vector Editing In The Browser

In my guest post over at Ask The Admin, I reviewed two popular online image editing suites. One of them was Aviary, an extremely powerful browser based image editing/creating suite of software. At that time, there were 3 separate applications that were available for anyone to use: Phoenix, Peacock and Toucan.

The Aviary crew has just released a browser based vector editor called Raven. This tool is comparable to Adobe Illustrator, and will allow you to create logos and other images that need to be scalable to any size. I am not much of a designer, and my skills really start and end at using the basics in Photoshop and GIMP, so I don't know what features Raven is missing compared to Illustrator. However, from what I can tell it seems like the features Raven does offer are high quality and work as expected.

Take a look at this video of Raven in action.
